Remove shaft from car. Knock outer CV off, slide inner boot up the shaft, replace CV joint, refit shaft to car.

I didnt realise the joint slides. It got caught on a metal lip on my shelfing and ripped the boot. You can get the boot for £5 from eurocarparts. Since these dont fit any of my cars, theres not much point in me repairing them etc, so ill probs hoy em in the metal skip this week.

Are they the same bar the ABS rings? Can the rings be swapped? Are they worth anything to sell on?

Hello, I bought a job lot of 1*2 parts. In these parts, are 2 driveshafts. I hope to refurb these with new boots etc then fit to my 2005 182. Can anyone confirm they are 1*2 shafts and that they will fit before I start??? Thanks Jordie

Hello all, Dont think it was always like this, but noticed the reflection of my car behind another car last night. OS headlight is bright white, tint of blue. NS headlight is dull, red/pink/purpley colour. Im sure it wasnt like this when I bought it, Do i need a new bulb? Jordie

Broken NSF spring, mis matched OSF spring. Play in both inner tie rods. ARB bushes showing wear.....some other stuff too, bit of a list to work though. DTM doing springs and tie rods for me.

Had tracking done, guy said it was out.... Drove home, no real improvement. Now i wonder if this is related, i find the car hard to drive, it wonders across the road randomly. I cant find any play in the wishbones etc. So ive been reading about steering rack bushes and that may be the issue...

Wheres best to get one? Are they different ones available? Mines a 182 with cup packs.

Hello all, Ive had this vibration on the clio since I bought it. Ive had 2 new front tyres and balanced (twice now), track rod end replaced and tracking set. Cant feel any play in wishbones etc etc. Small knock on the NSF strut top, slight play on inner rod on steering but not worth noting...
