Vehicle make/model: 182
Vehicle age: 2004
Vehicle Mileage: 35000
Mileage when wheel started to fail: less than 30000

Renault's Response: Off the record they know it's a common fault. Told might be worth ringing customer services but haven't as yet.
My 182's wheel is starting to look slightly shoddy and i'd like to get it re-trimmed before it gets too bad, can it be done over the plastic thumb things? And can they still fall apart if you re-cover them? Can anybody recommend somebody who does a good job?
Thought it was that way. It's going in to have brakes fitted on thursday so I might as well wait and get them to fit the washers as i'm not sure I can get them off.
Bit of a silly question but one worth asking I think. I've just come to fit the washers to go under the doughnuts on the suspension turrets and found the nuts to be very hard to get off. Which way should I be turning? I don't want to pop the strut out as i've read happens ifyou tighten too much.
I just don't trust them as they didn't seem to have a clue what they were talking about. I might try again and see if I can get through to somebody else who does.
Phoned up direct line and got quoted £70 more for changing the brakes! Girl did ask me how much extra power i'd get though and struggled when i replied none!! I was eventually told replacement with OE type products is ok, but they couldn't tell me what that was or how i'd know it if somebody...
Cheers. What about the Greenstuff pads? I'm not going to be tracking the car anyway so if they're legal thats probably a better bet for me. I presume they're not lime green and visible from a ,ile off.
My front discs are shot so i'm going to get some brembo discs with the ferodo pads from Yozzasport. I'm with Direct Line and i'm wondering if they need to know about this and will care?
If it was exhausts, wheels, bodykits etc i'd know the answer already but do better brakes class as a...
I know there are about 100 posts relating to various knocks, creaks and bangs (one of the joy's of French cars it seems) but i'm not sure which relates to me.
I'm getting a small knocking noise coming from the right front side of the car when lifting off or accelerating in 1st or 2nd. It only...
Came out from the shop and found Trophy VN55 XXY (or similar) parked two spaces away from me. No cliosport sticker. Happened a couple of weeks ago with a blue 172 as well.
