yee NCB do get carried over to new insurer's, you just need to prove you have them, iirc you cant protect under 5years anymore from what i have been told,
Fill in the change on your V5,
Get a Manufacture's (Renault/Audi etc) garage to confirm the engine number and put it on a letter/invoice,
Send both to DVLA
Easy
£200 isnt much? you must be loaded then,
£200 for a 2-3 day cover is ridicolous, i payed to get cover for 4days recently and that was £44 with insure4aday, easy company to use,
I get what your saying, but the point i am trying to get over is, if the records have been updated by dvla to show 1998cc and not 1149cc(still 1.2 shell), then insurance should have some sort of marker to say this, otherwise whats stopping someone else to buy the car and insuring it as a 1.2...
Yet its a 2L sport 172 since nearly 3years now, whats the crack, dont they get their info from the dvla or somewhere :/
Does anyone know who do i inform of changing ths, as on the v5 its declared so its all legit

Dash wiring is fine as its been fine for the past 2years after i did a conversion, i would try the trip computer but mine doesnt work lol, so scrap that idea, light seems to be staying off now, il just wait till it goes empty and refuel it,
