Time for a turbo to liven it up mate. Just got mine back on its wheels today. Powdercoated the beam and all the rear
End looks nice and fresh now. Whole cars either powdered or painted now.
Was Meant to be a daily.
Thanks I'll order some up tomorow I think. Hopefully I won't damage the nice shiney beam. Don't think I'll fit my arb back on as I'm sure that will chip the powder off now.
Ok thanks. I'm only thinking they are a few years old in their now although not done many miles I only took it off so I could get it all powdercoated so it looks fresh. Do the powerflex ones need pressing in or is it just std ones that do. It's only a road car so not really doing it for...
Hello . Do the original bushes on the rear beam need pressing out. I've had the beam Powdercoaters but covered the bushes so are ok but wondered if worth changing for powerflex ones.
Thing is you never see back what you spend on these things I enjoy doing it. I've not had any problems since I put the turbo stuff on it uses no oil ect. Just can't help wanting more out of it and I've got all the new bits for the spare engine so may as well build it all and drop it in. It's...
63k. Hardly gets used I've replaced pretty much everything on it drives like a new car. Goes so much better with the little turbo on too. Id not want one without a little boost now they feel so slow.
Your old ones been out for a little drive today and is still pretty mint . Defo worth turboing a nice one.
Starting putting together it's new engine soon forged bottom end and supertech valves ect.
Hello. Can anyone tell me if the gearbox side cv boot on the passenger side is meant to turn with the shaft or stay still and the shaft turns inside. Only had a few minutes to check earlier but pretty sure the rubber didn't turn when I spun the wheel.
?
Anyone have any advice.
Thanks
Do the extra bits they sell on the pms site not quieten this noise then . I really fancy one I don't mind a bit of noise but don't want it cheap rattly sounding .
Yea mines normal bushes inside its not too bad really only I have a civic type r as my everyday car and it makes the clios gear shift feel really crap. Mite just get a pms one I think
Can you get the stiff shift kit without the stick as I have the scenic stick fitted but it is sloppy compared to the original one. I'd have a pms one but don't want it vibrating all the time.
Thanks
