    You don't have to spend a lot the ELM 327 Bluetooth adaptor works very well to read OBDII codes

    Thanks for the tip. I will look at the pressure switch, before I get re gassed . There is a clunk but no increase in engine RPM, which I find odd. It definitely is hot enough here we have had a number of days over 40 C here in Melbourne!

    The AC on my car is not function. There is a click noise when I turn it on but I am not sure if the compressor is activated. Where is the AC computer located and is it possible to extract diagnostic information from it?

    Cambelt Issue

    In Australia we are being quoted far higher prices, $450 for and auxiliary belt. (But we pay far higher prices for everything here). I think I will have to order my parts from the UK! But postage will kill the advantage .

    The auxiliary belt tensioner cost a fortune to buy and from I have read you need a special tool to set. This thing about damaging the cambelt comes as a shock. Are Renault aiming at producing the worlds most unreliable cars? They certainly are doing a good job.After owning my 172 for two...
