theres a v6 owner at the end of queen alex road beside the queen alex road/strawberry bank roundabout.
This is a diff one on the back of the trailer, I saw the other guy driving round yesterday :)
there'll be a perfect v6 engine in it too! ah the joys of front ended collisions on a mid engined car lol. Still sucks to see such a tasty car all battered and broken at the side of the road :(
just saw this today myself - looks like a fairly nasty crash tbh.
There's a silver mk2 ph2 on another trailer behind it with pretty bad side/rear damage... looks like the ph2 pulled out on the v6 :(
to be honest mate it probs wasn't the water that caused it, the 1.6's are rediculous for munching through coil packs - i'd put my money on it just being the coil went (as they generally don't give any warning) and it just so happened that coincidentally you went through a big puddle simultaneously!
depends if the ipod connection is kicking out the required 5v, doubt it the lead cos if it can make a connection it should charge it aswell, more than likely is that the head unit doesnt kick out a voltage

from 2005 onwards you may need the CANBUS version of the steering control leads - which are ALOT more expensive.
If you're lucky, you'll have the standard controls which are normal price.
Best I've found are incartec as they don't at any point require removal of the dash. They are the ones...
there's a lad who works in halfords on the valley has (or was in the process of the last i knew) turbo'd his 172 - pretty sure his is still standard though (body wise that is) :)
