Update on this
Stripped the engine ready for the clean up. 1st thing to do was the cam belt, as I’d rented the tools. Timed it up correctly, and I think going off the previous tipped timing marks, it was a tooth out?
New genuine cambelt kit, and dephaser installed, all correctly timed and...
After being away all week training with work, finally had a few hours stripping the engine. Some of that time was spent getting the drivers window up using a power probe, so I could push the car outside as the Mrs is complaining her car is frozen up all the time!

They are mate, hence why I’m trying to go aftermarket. I’ve a really good local factors, but they’re struggling even with genuine part numbers, leading to to wonder if there is actually a difference in the CUP spring?
Is there a difference in the spring, or just the shock absorber and hub?
Trying to get a pair of OE front springs for my CUP packed 182, but factors are trying to sell me 172/182 springs suitable for both, I thought a 182 had different springs?
I’ve got the engine out of my 182, and I’m wanting to clan up the bay, and the oily and greasy block and gearbox.
What do people use for this? I’ve got some Gunk degreaser, but wondered if there was a better product?
