Cheers for that, will have a look round there and see. Cant decide if a slightly more varied focal length would be beneficial or not. Fixing it seems possible if it is a ribbon cable, but fiddly.

Thought I would drop this one in here. It seem the AutoFocus motor on my Cannon 18-55 lens has given up. It is just the standard kit lens that I got when I bought my 550D several years ago. Was after some advice if it was worth seeing about fixing it or just getting a replacement lens?

Could be up for it. Was meant to be going the week after to round of this term, unlikely I would be able to do both. What you thinking - arrive and drive? or trying for a f1 sprint or something?

Bonnet looks like abit of attention wouldn't go amiss as well. I know someone who works at a body shop as a sprayer so can try and get the details if you want. Of course dependent on what you are wanting to have done would depend if they were competitve

You only drove past, but no xenons (being the quick way to tell) it could have been a 1.2 with a noisy exhaust for all I knew at the time :wink:. But as you have proved a good clean has made it come up well Edit: I wouldn't have known it was you from reading this and seeing the yellow bullets...

I saw this the other day, part of me didn't think it was a true 172, or I didn't want to believe it, (it was dark at the time) As others have said, personally I would have kept the flamer.

It is down the distance and what I have spare, and this month is looking bleak. I have no real preference, if there is something on that interests me I will consider going regardless of which group. Feel free to pm if there is anything /reason though.
