    M271 Southampton

I'd just joined from the M27 J3 roundabout and a blue 182 came firing round the outside of me, not so closely followed by a silver non-1*2. I would've joined in, but I was giving my Mum a lift back from the airport and she's not the racing type :(

    Air inlet duct disintegrated

I've ordered a couple of lengths of ducting from Ebay, I think when it comes towards the time to sell, it will look better with the ducting in place. Thanks for the replies :)

    Air inlet duct disintegrated

Whilst removing the airbox today I found the inlect duct needs replacing. Is there a better alternative to the rigid wound fabric one, or shall I just get a like for like replacement. It would seem that a flexible hose would be better... opinions?

Air con problem - condenser snapped at base

That sounds exactly like mine, I'll take a look at it when I next get the chance. Thanks mate :)

Air con problem - condenser snapped at base

Magic, cheers mate. What I meant was that it sometimes blows cold, and sometimes it just pumps out hot air, even with it set on 16 degrees (or mini). I'm not bothered about having it on in winter really (although its better at demisting than just blowers), I just don't want to damage it...

Air con problem - condenser snapped at base

Whilst trying to find a rattle over the weekend I found that the two brackets that are fixed to the bottom of the air con condenser, which hold it in place, have both snapped. This means the condenser is only attached at the top, leaving the bottom half to swing backwards and forwards, banging...

Radiator - bottom fixings come away

It's actually the air condenser i'm talking about. Which makes sense, as the air con has been intermittently working lately (and smelling when it does work). Does this sound like the condenser has broken?

    Locating electrical fault

I think I've got a bad earth somewhere. When I reverse, my fog light comes on and my indicator sort of comes on, and apparently when I brake and indicate, the brake light dims when the indicator flashes. The wiring diagram in the haynes manual indicates a possible problem with earth location...

Radiator - bottom fixings come away

Whilst under the car yesterday, trying to find the source of a rattle, I found the two fixings at the bottom of the radiator that hold it in place have both broken. This means its swinging backwards and forwards and clanging everytime it does. Not sure if this is the cause of the noise or not...

    Worst Clio Ever?

Gotta laugh at the dual Marge Simpson stickers and the GTI one on the steering wheel.... worst car ever, let alone Clio!

    Java people - suggestions

@Addicted How's it going with the UDK -> Java port? Can't imagine it's too enjoyable... or did you go with something else?

    Java people - suggestions

Yeah, surprisingly it has improved in the 21 years since it's release.... Didn't say they were, just that there's big money in Java, which there is. Such is life :/
