As already said, use a foam applicator pad, a little QD or even water on the pad, and a half turn of the applicator pad in the wax tin, and apply. Thinly is the key.

On my MKIII at idle I used to have a vibration. Took the bumper of and the sponge padding for the washer bottle had moved and was causing the vibration.
This solved the vibration problem. Now in the warm weather my car sounds like a rusty old wheel barrow...need to see if I have dry bearings...

A little better than I was getting, I might drive at 70mph on the motorway this week to see what I return in mpg.
I was using cheaper diesel for a while, but I am back using BP, and not seeing any increase in mpg, so I am going back to the cheaper diesel, which is 3p per litre cheaper. I have tried using Millers additive etc but seen no different.
I check my tyre pressures every week, I use 35psi front and 32psi back. I have had 2 Mk2 dci 65bhp Clio's and they could easily do nearly 70mpg and never got less than 52mpg in town driving.

Looking some feed back on this. I have a MK3 106bhp model. I have had it for over 2 years, with 27k on the clock now. I would never say it was easy on fuel with average mpg at 45mpg with a mixture of town/motorway driving. I now drive a round trip of 60 miles per day on motorway and still...
