    Repetitive Throttle Body Problems

Following with interest, as this sounds similar to my issues. I'm on my 4th body as well, however my failure symptoms are a bit different to yours. Mine seem to get progressively more on/off in their application, only noticeable once the cars had a few runs on track, then will appear to 'stick'...

    Powerflex Dog Bone Bushes Question

All Ph 1 I believe used the standard straight dog bone mount and most (all?) Ph 2's were the twisted design. Have to make sure you get the right kit as the bushes are quite different.

    Australian Drive Day

First RS we got was the Ph1 172 Cup back in 2001? Only got 85 of them and then the Ph2 came along. The standard Renault models have been around for ages, but the Clio II was sold in tiny numbers and the non-RS Clio III never came. We've had every RS model but the R26.R though :)

    Australian Drive Day

Cheers guys. This was at roughly 900m above sea level and the forecast was for snow above 500m today, so yeah. It is possible! Was "only" -1 degree there.

    Australian Drive Day

So a few of us decided to go for a drive today while the AFL Grand Final was on (you poms will have to Google that probably :P), meaning the roads are mostly empty. LY 265 is tasty indeed. Then we got some hail after the first section of our route And then... snow

JMS RS2 Install Issue - Purchased 172 Kit but have 182 Engine

CAMS regulations will require you to have a 2L catch can fitted. I got around this by drilling a hole in the standard silicone hose that comes with the kit, fitted a 90 deg piece and making sure it was sealed and then went and bought some suitable hose to run between the breather outlet and the...

    New powerflex wishbone bush design

I'd harass them to send me these since the replacement ones they sent me with the stiffer black bushes is still flexing a bit, but I just cannot be arsed removing the old ones again and fitting these. Be keen to see if there's much of a difference though...

    Issues with Powerflex wishbone bushes

Here's a photo with the inner sleeve in place just to assure you that it's there :P As for how the movement is occurring, I don't really know. ARB's are designed to stop vertical movement, not sure just how effective it'd be at stopping the wishbone from moving backwards. Maybe I should try...

    Issues with Powerflex wishbone bushes

It's not quite 10mm, I'd say it's probably around 5-6mm that it's moving. And yes, it was my GoPro zip-tied to the steering arm and also sticky taped to try and stop it from moving about lots. Yes, ARB is definitely bolted on :P Thing is, this issue doesn't affect handling that much (there's...

    Issues with Powerflex wishbone bushes

Yes, I did remove the central metal sleeve for those photos. It was there in the first place, don't worry!

    Issues with Powerflex wishbone bushes

Sure as hell felt tight. And yes, I noticed that the hole in the front bush has been elongated. It's now 21mm x 23mm rather than 22mm. The sleeve can't be pressed in further because of the flare they have put on the end of it. If it wasn't for that, then the sleeve would sit probably 1.5-2mm...

    Issues with Powerflex wishbone bushes

Got two photos here that show the front bush. As you can see, it is no where NEAR as bad. The odd thing though is that the rear bush on the right side isn't as bad as the left side either. To be fair though, I think the failure rate must be fairly small. I don't recall ever reading about...
