Well after changing everything on mine I found out on my track day that it was the drive shaft nocking on the chassis of the car..I was shocked to find this as the problem and my car is only lowered 30mm and have only seen this happen on silly low cars but was a easy fix with a grinder and...
I had this on my ph1 I changed everything..shocks,ball joints..fitted solid top mount but still a bloody nock!!
But now I have found it after sooo long

Yep it was me who dicked it on the first corner..had the wrong line and forgot to scrub in my new tyres = big spin made me nervier for the rest of the morning..I didn't no it was a porsche I sent off was he able to go back out on track? I wanted to say sorry to him but didn't no who to say it to...

I was in the ph1..it was a brilliant day couldn't believe are luck on the weather..don't suppose you got any photos of me..also is your on throttle body's because that thing was quick!! And you forgot about the red 182
So..I'd say the front shocks on my ph1 172 are weak there not leaking but when the car is on my ramp I can compress the shock a little also every other bump I hit I here a nock as if the shock is bottoming out
