If you really want an induction kit then the ktech one seems to not lose any power compared to others.

Get yourself an ITG Maxogen! And be able to recreate on command the kinda sound a whale makes when it follows through!! Pure awesomeness!!

Lol I was jesting, I don't think you're a chav

but, an induction kit won't prevent the kangarooing on cold starts, you'll need to get it remapped.

plus. Due to where the IK will be placed in the engine, it'll just suck in a shed load of hot air. Waste of money IMO, get an ITG panel filter or something :)

I was thinking along the lines of a pipercross viper forced air induction had it on all my civics response was really good just wondering if it can be fitted to the clio as i having a problem the airbox has 3 pipes attached to it the o.e from the engine its self that obvisly stays the cold air intake and some othe air aintake thing with a wee thin tube on it guessing must be a flow sensor or something. If that doesnt need to go into a replacement kit i can fir the viper on it

Induction kits are a waste on the clios. You'll probably loose power & it certainly won't help with the issues you have.

You will lose power with allot of the induction kits as knuckles said. Kangerooing isn't because of intake. I think they put the flat spot in to keep it under the tax bracket due to emissions. Get a remap to sort the fuelling and keep your panel filter, standerd unit works very well.

The air box has the air feed which is the pipe in the middle, then there's the pipe going to the throttle body at the back of the air box, then the one to the right of the air box is the acoustic valve which opens at over 5krpm iirc. It's closed most of the time to keep noise down

It's the one on the right say I was to make my own induction and use the throttle pipe one for the filter rip out the cold air feed what do I do with that valve one on the right leave it there or does that need to be on the incoming air feed pipe to the induction filter trays all I need to no ill eventually get my car dynod to see if Its a loss or gain .
