I could be wrong but I don't think it's in arcade....yet. There was a vid earlier in the thread where he was caning an AMG Merc round and the tire got hot and started smoking, he'd just hit level 10.

I asked earlier if garage cars can be used in Arcade and split screen as I can't see an option. Anyone?

Few thoughts:

Clearly they spent alot of money on the interior view of the cars, and how they handle from that veiw point. The cars don't feel anywhere near as good to drive as Forza 3, the saving grace on this game is that I really like the interior viewshot (Which is where they seemingly spent all that money anyway), but all else it's not a patch on the gameplay of Forza 3. It is fun, but the issue is Forza is 10/10 and this is probably 7 or 7.5 out of 10. No doubt the wheel will improve things but that's not great value for money imo.

A couple of points I have with the handaling.... When I plough into a wall as I don't know the braking zones or understeer a bit, I don't want to bounch off! I want carnage. One mistake of that magnitude and it should be game over. If you hit the lines on this game and get some free air, it's actually really good! I like that, but if you have it wrong it just feels crap. Hmmm, so up's and downs I guess.

Also, finally, I can say the PS3 pad doesn't work. On this game, .... no. I have hand cramps. It's like I've been fingering a girl on full pelt for a substantial period of time.

PS3 pad ergonomically isn't great, the triggers are too hard to use in comparison with the 360 one

I've never had a massive problem with a ps3 pad the only thing about the xbox triggers is they have a longer range so you have more accurate control.

I guess it's just ergonomically better than the PS3 pad seeing as the PS3 takes it's shape from a joypad first seen in 1875.

In fairness it's ok for FPS, adventure, platform, puzzle games etc but utter shite for driving games thanks to the triggers being too small, having too little travel and as a result of their shape easy for your finger to slip off the end.

Just tried the online,

Suite is quite epic actually, simply click on a room and you can then watch the current race as until it finshes, loads of stuff to play around with while you wait, different views, car cams and live timings of race.

Anyway my turn came and I chose a car that fitted within the regulations and it went into free mode - basically practice until the host started the race. 5 laps of suzuka East but it was laggy as hell, unplayable basically. I saw it through and then we did 3 laps of rome which was great = weird!

well you can gift cars so I assume if I give it to you you can gift it back!

Won't be till the morning though. Its 613kg and running about 135bhp, mods include springs, hard racing tyres, exaust, filter etc! It was bought second hand with 350k on the clock but has had a full engine rebuild

Beast, changes direction well considering the size. You don't drive in that view I hope.

Tried the Zonda R in arcade mode on the long special stage with the tunnel. Absolute animal, sounds awesome on the replay at full chat.
