MOT fail help - Service brake?

172 Cup & Clio dci Van
Had my clio in for mot today,

got a list of bulb related crap to sort and the other thing is that

' service brake efficiency below requirements 47% efficiency.' - Rear

What the f**k is the service brake?

matey said that it might be because the back of my car is stripped out and there is no weight in the car. Thus affecting the rear brake compensator???

Anyone tell me wtf i have to do to make it pass?
Matey said put some weight in the back of the car???

put weight back in to pass the MOT then take it out once you have an MOT pass?

a cup doesn't have a load brake comp, renault even failed mine once saying it wasn't connected! Lol. Tell them to check the tech paperwork issued from dot years ago that says all about the cup rear brakes. Iirc my last mot i had a 10 % service brake and it still passed

Mine passed at 17% efficiency a few months ago, but i did have to have a new Rear Calliper fitted regardless.

i had to get vosa men to come to the mot station when they failed mine, and the vosa people trainned the staff how to read. took about 1 week to arrange with them etc.. but worth it to pee the mot station off
