How much toe out @ front?

How much toe out do you run at the fron of your car?

Stock is 1mm. What do you reckon is best for the track on stock suspension?

toe outs for tracks with lots of strights, toe in is for tracks with lots of corners more technical than normal, im just assuming you dont know but what track is it going on you might be after the wrong thing

you got that wrong, its quite the opposite

I use 1mm toe out dry, 2mm toe out wet

its the back end which makes the difference

Generally toe-in adds stability at the expense of some turn-in. Toe-out can make the car feel nervous (although I believe there is a little toe-out as specified at the factory) Setting to parallel is always a good safe bet!!

Agreed, toe out @ front = bettern turn in - Toe in @ front = better stability.

But how do changes of the front toe relative to teh back make a difference?

Example: more toe at the front vs less toe at the back. Do they both yield teh same results?

toeing out helps to make the car steer

generaly 0 toe at back and 0 toe at front is best start for track work

camber is crucial for tyre wear and handling

My setup:
ROAD: 1-2mm toe out with minimum camber, rears standard (toe in, -1,5° camber) predictable, safe setup, good braking and traction

FAST TRACK: 0 (up to 2mm) toe out and -2,5° camber front and 0 toe, -1,5° camber on the back

SLOW TRACK: 1mm(up to 3mm) toe out front, 3mm toe out back

CLIO CUP 172 spec: front 1mm toe out -3,5° camber, back 1mm toe in, 3,3° camber

CLIO CUP 197 spec: front 2mm toe in -3°10'' camber, back 2mm toe out -2°30'' camber
