Am I one of the youngest to own a clio sport that's not really mine at all?

Im 17 had a saxo vtr for a about a month, untill had funds and found a nice clio sport, now i have a silver 182 (04) with cup spoiler packages. I absolutely love it!!

Just wondering if there is anyone else around my age in the south west with a clio sport aswell!!

insurance was 1500 fully comp named driver ( for those of u that was gonna ask)

Thought that was pritty good

anyway just wondering if anyone does?

and your point is.... not bad for insurance am payin 1500 for my 1.2 :(

^^ ad rather be named to drive a sport than non named ten forking out twice as much

Well, it's not exactly a fast car a clio is it, so I would imagine the insurance to be cheap.

Silver 182's are really "pritty", I have one too.

I was a named driver for a while on my 1.2, had an accident and there was no issues claiming and i was the main driver! People on here yet very ancy about it! lol...having said that getting your own policy means it'll be cheaper in yrs to come!

yeh its not extremely fast, but it has enough to get me out of sticky situations

omg you are so lucky... i was named and i had an accident.. :( the guy demanded all my details and took photographs.. :( so i couldt get away with it!! dented a brand new audi 08 early this year... argh

the main driver on the policy also drives the car, and if we was both going to use the car, just did it the cheapest way

id have killed myself if id of been let loose in a 182 at 17, i didnt stop driving like a t**t untill about a year ago now. Used to full on rag the poor little 1.2 expression, 90mph in 30mph limits, pushing the poor car round corners at stupid speeds and just being a complete dickhead really.

Enjoy it, your very lucky to have one of those at your age.

cheers man :), my cousin did that in a 1.2, got it all wrong hit a wall backwards comletely wrote the car off, its a state...

thats actually really cheap insurance, enjoy the car, alot of people would love to be in your position

(and for those who say hes a **** for being on his parents insurance etc hes not tbh because you would if you could also)

wtf, insurance for a clio 1.2 billabong back in 2003 when I was 18 cost me £1500 fully comp!

I wouldnt, and if he crashed into me insured that was id be knee capping him! But he has already said he is not the main driver so its cool :):)

Own insurance FTW, named driver = bad.

U may have a 182 now, but in 2/3 years you wont have any No claims, therefore will not be able to insure anything else.

have fun tho.

i donno lol, the main driver sorted that out, and its not fraud lol, the main driver uses the car more than me, so its legitimate. :S:S

So its not your car then, so you are not one of the youngest with a reanult sport then :p

Barron my brother is 18, he has a 172 in his name and insurance in his name, imo thats HIS car then :D

passed test back in july, lol what is up with some of these people, no need for all the bitter comments, was just a thread for some interest never mind then!

but at his age im thinking that most on here had a 1.2 and was itching for a faster car and now he has one, if hes not driving it as much as the main driver then thats ok
