I can't believe how high these are on standard suspension! That's mad

It looks epic on the bilsteins. Did you remove the subframe to fit them or just undo anything and everything you could from the hub?

The pics alongside your 172 really shows how good these look as standard against the mk2s

Cracking work.

i just un did the bolts holding the shock on and hammered like a MF then a little bit of leaver and they where out i did have problems with the drivers side as one bolt was stuck but after some persuasion it was out and never touched the s/f

Prefer it over the 172?
Yes and no I love all the gadgets and bits the old one never had keyless and what not and the handling is brilliant even out the box the bits I have done has made it more a road car but still at home on the track but the 172 has the rawness and that sparkle the 97 is missing but I'm learning to love it just need to get it mapped and it will help tenfold..

It's a car I keep looking at but unsure wether I would take one over the rb. White or ref would be preference. I like the way it looks more modern, more grown up and have read they handle really well from the off.

some of you may have noticed i have no mirror cap this has now been sorted due to paint issues however i will be looking to get plastic ones as i do like the look.
