What rear camber? Burp, Fred, Danny
I had my geo done and am now running -2.24 degrees on the front which has made a huge difference.
The rear is at -1.24 and 1.36 so I'm going to square this up with a 10 minute shim. Would another 1 degree be to much for the rear for pure track use?

Re: What rear camber? Burp, Fred, Danny
Nope, think the Burp chaps run something like 4.5 up front and 3.5 at the rear?
However, the main thing to note is that this sort of thing is pretty personal, and depends on other stu like tyres, shocks, car weight, etc, so only you can work out what works best for you
I ran 2.8 up front and 2.5 at the rear, but the car was used a bit on the road too.

Re: What rear camber? Burp, Fred, Danny
The cars fully stripped with Spax RSX, Whiteline and R888's. I was around half a second quicker than the next quickest RS around Blyton last week so I'd say I'm not too slow.
Would more camber at the rear than on the front be an issue?

Re: What rear camber? Burp, Fred, Danny
You will just have to try it and see.
Tyre temps are all important here as well as pressures.
It can make the car unstable under braking etc, there is no one set up for all I'm afraid.
Also, have you got any toe out on the rear? There is a lot more to it than you first think.
We are currently now running 3.5 on the front and, 2.5 on rear with 2mm toe out. Testing at Mallory on the 15th Aug, so we will see how that goes.

Sorry to hijack the thread but how do you correct camber and toe the same time on the back? Do you fit two sets of camber shims on different angles? This is my geo, as you can see the rear is a little out

Is that nearly 6 degree's toe on the rear? I can't imagine it is but the other measurements are in degree's!

Re: What rear camber? Burp, Fred, Danny
v16 - you've probably got a knackered rear wheel bearing there
adding a 10min shim to balance out the difference between 1.36 and 1.46 is a waste of time, 10min is sod all, if it were 50min+ then maybe but again when stuff gets that far off its either a knackered bearing or you've bent something

New disks and bearings fitted 400 miles ago?

I'm guessing a bent stub axle or beam
Shouldn't be that far out

Are they torqued up correctly? Would that cause an issue?

No toe out, just stock set up at this stage.
