A bit specialised this month, but still a number of entries

The theme was Silhouette, vote for your favourite photograph which fits the theme as always.

Voting closes in 5 days and the winner will get a special prize in the post

Some cracking entries.

5 isn't a silhouette at all, and although 6 is an amazing photo....that's pushing it too.

It's been photoshopped to imitate the properties of a silhouette but it still fails tbh, but that's just me.

Sure why not. I bring out my trusty wikipedia (and lol at this )

"A silhouette is the image of a person, an object or scene represented as a solid shape of a single color, usually black, its edges matching the outline of the subject. "

It's neither a solid shape nor block colour, it's merely a picture of a car in a garage with only the front bumper showing from light. It also is not an outline of the object due to the angle it's at.

Photoshopped or not, I really can't see how that is a silhouette whatsoever, and that's down to personal opinion but I know I'm not the only one to agree

Don't get me wrong it's a nice photo and I like the idea and haven't seen anything like that done before, but I still don't think it's a silhouette.

IMHO, only 2, 3, (7), 10 are real silhouettes! I shouldnt be able to see different shades of color in the silhouette object for it to be a true silhouette. Although 7 is a silhouette, imo the object is too small and im more drawn in by the clouds. Shame really as there was some nice shots in this set that were imo much better suited and would have won my vote. In the end, voted for 2; too much sun glare in 3 and didnt find 9 interesting.

Between 3 and 8 for me but I went for 8 as I like the atmosphere that the image creates.
