What is the safest way of polishing / waxing it tonight without causing too much swirling.
I'd take it to you're local petrol station and use the jet wash on it mate. Dry it. Then proceed on.

Otherwise you're just asking for trouble.

Thats a good idea in theory but if I drive to the garage, I have to drive back. And the unit is down a long muddy lane. And its pissing down outside! lol.

    Ffs.

    British weather sucks ass.

Don't risk it with dust! Especially after spending all that money on it.

Dam you I could fit my car in my garage but there wouldnt be a lot of space to work.

I wanted to give the 1.2 one last decent clean too.

Mines the same tbh mate. What are you going to use on it tomorrow?

Do you not have any quick detailer daniel? If the dust isn't too bad then try using lots of QD with lots of microfibres?

Do you have a quick detailer and a nice deep pile MF? You can remove light dust with that mate then wax.

    I think i've sussed it...

I'm going to drive it outside slowly, let it rain all over the car, wash it rather gingerly with a mitt and then throw lots of buckets of water over it.

    Dry it, polish/wax.

    Thoughts?!

    That'll work well.

I just hope it stays dry tomorrow night. It gives rain though.

Lols! I love overkill! Do it! Vics is the finishing touch! Mind wipe down the next day. Glasur will gas a little with vics straight over.

Have you got a 5L bottle you could put water it? Or anything. Rain won't be enough I don't think.

I'll try to leave time for a quick Z6/Z8 in the morning. As if there wasn't enough product on there already

Until it leaves the garage into a monsoon

I've got a garden sprayer with demon shine as a pikey ONR substitute to wash it if needs be.
