Getting started mapping aftermarket management
Couple of people from here have asked me for info about how to go about learning to map their own car recently, so I thought this article might interest some others as well.
Not intended to be definitive (only 3 pages long including pictures) by any means, but a bit of an introduction into what sort of kit you need and why etc

I was trying to write the article from the point of view of people staying safe with their engines when learning to map, so I figured a picture showing what might happen if they get it wrong might help them concentrate, lol
I reckon every article about how to drive fast on track should likewise picture a crash, lol

Ha ha, no but I have seen quite a few "mappers" who actually do similar, its frightening what some people pay hard earned cash to have done to their cars, there are some proper cowboys out there, never mind laptop and wideband they need fecking spurs and a ten gallon hat!

VERY few mint GTE's left now, so many of them either rust away, smacked up or just chavved beyond redemption.
Sign up on VauxSport.com and post some pics of your nova there

Ha ha! That's going back a bit, must be about ten years ago now j?
Four damn hours it took to clear customs in it which involved waiting for a copper from England to come across the chAnnel tunnel and inspect it!
