Can someone confirm what this does?

Found this broken when looking at my problems with my exhaust knocking, is this the sensor for the HID levelling? As you can see ive done a truly professional fix with a cable tie which seems to be doing the job for the time being:

Afaik yes it's the hid levelling sensor.

Ok great, thought as much! Will be interesting to see how they look on the road now then! As you can imagine it was sitting somewhat lower than it is now!
