Rear Tow Strap Fitting

Please let me know how you have secure your rear tow straps

I am going to make a small cut in the black plastic towards the drivers side

Slit through bumper , drill rear beam , nut and bolt tow strap job done

That's a PH1 though - they have a bolt hole already there for the removable tow hook

The PH2 172's have one welded to the bottom of the spare wheel well
I've asked this loads and no-one knows. I suspect you'd have to make up a bracket and get it all welded on

I just drilled a hole through the boot floor just behind the factory tow eye.
