DA Polishing, what do I do?
Hi,
Just had this delivered http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish.../prod_525.html
I assumed it would come with instructions, but no. I've read up on it etc and it was recommended for beginners on detailing world
But I honestly have no clue where to start.. Any tips for an absolute beginner?
Many thanks in advance!

Watching some videos on youtube is quite handy imo.
Make sure you look at comments first as there a few videos of spoons on the go on there.

Make sure the pad is clean at all times and there is enough polish on the pad.
Don't stay in one place for long and you should be safe. As said, make sure you watch some videos so that you get a grasp.
If you really have no idea, there is no harm in getting some panels from the scrappy and having a go on them.

Out of interest, after you have used a pad for a bit, how do you clean them? Just soak in water?

Re: DA Polishing, what do I do?
There's a big thread on www.detailingworld.com which pretty much covers everything you need to know on how to use a DA.
Will be easy to find the thread on there.

I use a nylon brush to remove excess polish between passes, and water with fairy liquid to rinse them after use.
