HD Camcorder

Any recommendations for a decent HD camcorder, the rents are after one as the old man is till using one that had a tape and is about 9 years old lol.

Budget... ideally £300 max.

Panasonic get good reviews.
Just remember with the tapes copies ect were easy, full hd takes some serious gigs to edit ect.
Whats there comp like?

Yeah, their current one is a Panasonic and it was a top spec tape one when new.

Editing wont be an issue as there are a couple of decent spec machines in the house that will cope

I can vouch for Panasonic. I just sold on ebay my HDC-SD90 as it was too big and fragile for mounting under the diffuser.

Great image, stabilisation and lens.

Really impressed with my Sony, no idea what model without looking .

Only really use it for trackdays but always looks good.

I got a Panasonic, it's quiet a high end one but managed to get it at a bargain price. Awesome bit of kit!
