My DCI 100 thread, (her name is Carmel)
Okay so bought this car about a month a go and work has started, me and my girlfriend named it Carmel The Clio, here is how it looked when I first bought it:

Then in preparation for FCS2012 I bought some lowering springs, unfortunately (due to money) I had to buy apex springs, however they're like new and I intend to upgrade to coilovers at some point. They are off a 1*2 and are around 50mm lower. Which is just about right for me

Fitting them was easy enough, apart from some stupidly over tightened wheel nuts presume it was someone at a garage with a snap on air gun or something.
In the process of fitting them here:

Two of my mates giving a hand, finishing up

Made a big difference at the front

The finished deal

After a quick once over with a microfibre cloth and autoglym rapid detailer + clean wheels.

To get the paint looking like that, i dipped some money in to a clay bar kit from autoglym, (to go with my autoglym collection) I use the clay bar over the whole car, then used the high resin polish (however its rubbish). I like my detailing, so will be attempting to recreate the perfect finish, with a little machine polish help in a week or two.
The sort of spec i'm aiming for:
Paint and refurb wheels in anthracite, same with badges.
182 interior needs to be mint though to keep up with the rest of the car.
Uprated intercooler, airfilter and then a remap i aim for 130bhp
then colour code the bump strips and maybe the front and back ones too.
and a light tint on the windows, with the sunroof being tinted completely black.
Would like to here you're feed back, and opinions. Thanks for reading, the progress so far

Re: My DCI 100 thread, (her name is Carmel)
Plans sound good and the drop looks nice! One suggestion I would have is the RS Grill. I really dislike the front grill on the newer Ph2's

Re: My DCI 100 thread, (her name is Carmel)
Cheers bud, I'm undecided as to whether to go with an rs grill, I'm going to paint the whole front plastics black to get them looking a bit smarter.
edit: I forgot to add i intend to get some spacers on it too, so it sits a bit better.

iv uses vanish deep powder clean on my carpets, i took the out last weekend, safe to say they look all new black now. its the seats that look s**te atm, tried turtle wax interior cleaner and its not touch it
seat belts, thread on here somewhere, parently sticking them out the door full un wound and soaking them in something ( cant remember the product ) and then pressure washing them brings um up nice. USE a cloth behind the belt tho so no scratches on your paint work happens.

£400 ontop of my insurance atm but they said it will drop allot when it comes to renewal time!
haha recaro sportsters it is then. full role cage needed as its one big heavy lump and very torque with what i have planned :P
hybrid veriable vin turbo from a bmw or something German.
engine will have to be lowered so dry sump and stand alone oil pump ect.
hoping to get 200bhp out of it. already a 165bhp engine as from factory :P
so basicly, DCI RAZ's rep wil be a proper sport almost, just with a very fun derv up front :P. oh and car might change colour again
