Massive over fueling and problems with immobiliser - clio 182 trophy

A friend of mine who doesnt have access to the forum, has recently rebuilt his trophy engine after a valve failure.

Since then the car has been massively over fueling, leaving a black burnt fuel trail all the way up the back of the car, it also hunts around on idle and it isnt very smooth running at all. When cold it doesnt want to pull away either, but once warmed up it seems to be ok.

. It's now having problems firing up due to the immobiliser as well,. Could these two be linked or are they two seperate ?

He swears the timing is correct on it but if anyone else has had a similar experience please share

    Cheers

I'd check the oxygen sensor and look for air leaks. Sure it's immobiliser and not the tdc sensor playing up?

    BTW: Are you collecting 1*2s?
