Fuel light.......

Guys - I'm not sure if my fuel warning light is working as I ran my fuel down to reserve but the warning light didn't come on.

Can anyone let me know when the light should come on please?

Just keep going till it does.

If you MPG shows 35 then then light will come on when 35 miles are left in.

Oh ok but it was literally empty on the gauge so wasn't sure if the warning light had packed up!?

Just fill it up, if you've only put 40 litres in you know you've still got 10 in the tank.

it should come on with the ignition then go off with all the other lights!!

thatll tell you if the lights duff, but it could still be the sensor in the gearbox!!

Ignition off .. hold the button on the end of the LH stalk in .. ignition on (don't start engine). All the clocks should dance, click the button now to scroll through until it says 8L or however much you have left in the tank, as it thinks.
