Aircon problem

My aircon did used to work fine but it doesnt at all now and i want to fix it, get no click when switching it on but it i unplug the pressure sensor the pump spins for a few seconds and same when u plug the sensor wire back on. Is this just a nakerd sensor or is the system low on gas? I have unscrewed the caps and pushed the valves and they both release gas

Any ideas?

Diagnostic first to confirm/deny he fault as low gas pressure or a mechanical/electrical fault. Then go from there
