Best way to buff paint?
Ok my car is renault code 727 (Flame red?) Its a flat red colour non metallic and all that but my roof has faded to a pinky colour could I use G3 to polish it up then wax and polish? Or is there a lacquer layer over the actual paint?
Cheers guys

Respray job.

Re: Best way to buff paint?
727 is Capsicum mate, same as the Trophy colour.
Can be rescued sometimes with a polish, only one way to find out! will need to get a machine polisher on it though if you don't want to be trying all day by hand.

Re: Best way to buff paint?
I thought it was impossible to polish this colour due to clear coat?

Re: Best way to buff paint?
Capsicum red can be buffed up, no bother.
It will fade again though. How fast it fades depends on the quality of polish you put on it.

Hmm I shall at least give it a go do you recommend any good buffing up things? Would G3 be good for this kind of thing and by hand or machine?
