Mine is the only car parked on the street usually cause the houses all have double drives but we have 3 cars. They never seem to go play down the bottom of the cul-de-sac, they always play near the top, next to my car! As long as they don't tw*t it at the car on purpose or dent it I'm not too bothered, it's a mess anyway.

I just ask if they'd mind moving down the street a bit or just be careful not to hit it, kids round here are alright though .

Pisses me off badly. Spent hours cleaning the Integra one day, then kids decided to play football near it. Championship White + muddy football. Not good.

We're surrounded by fields and they play football on the street WTF.

Count yourself lucky, a guy on our street used to like to play cricket on the street up until a few years ago!

The fact his house backs onto the cricket field took the piss too.

His bat would have been shoved right up his rusty sheriff's badge , with the ball following it shortly afterwards.....

Get a grip, it's a tiny mud splatter from a football?

Fair enough if they were booting at your car with intent you'd have right to moan but I doubt that was the case.

    Re: Kids playing football

It's not tiny mud splatter as you say , a wet football(casey) will and does have loads of little stones etc stuck on it , i had a brand new megane scenic about 5 years ago a black one, by the time i got rid of it there was a football shaped series of scratches on the boot and loads of other minor one's all over the doors wings etc, all caused by wet football's, ok they was easy to polish out but it's not the point is it?...

I have a collection of footballs! If one goes near my house, garden or car, they never see it again! There is a playground and 5 a side pitch 100 yards away!

Depending on how good your footy skills are, and how much you care about potentially looking a bit paedo-y, next time they are playing, doing something outside, and when the balls comes over, do a few keepy ups, then give them the ball back. Depending what they are alike, they might think you are a decent enough bloke and not an old moaning fuddy-duddy. Then politely ask if they dont mind beong careful around your car.

Might work, if not, kids are kids, and am sure it was an accident.

Balls damage paintwork. All you lot saying "its only a ball", would you let anyone kick a ball at your car?! If you would, then you must not value your car at all. Balls scratch paint. Yes it can be posished out with some t-cut, but thats work for the owner of the car and money for the t-cut. I think footballs in the street should be banned tbh. I have a driveway and the balls still blood hit my car!!

Boils my piss when I see kids doing this near my car.
If they must insist on playing such a sh*t sport then why not play it in the park or on a football pitch?
