Re: My Clio 172 Cup
How can someone do that to a car and think it looks good?
-
Re: My Clio 172 Cup
Wow, that exhaust is truly something to behold! Keep de-chavving and you'll be onto a winner!

I believe a previous owner enlisted this chap for the job
Give it a month or two and it should be how I want it. Just a few plugs "unplugged" under the bonnet to sort.

Re: My Clio 172 Cup
That's a bargain!
Won't take much to get it looking like a decent Cup again.

Re: My Clio 172 Cup
Update:
Brakes, Bearing, Bonnet Catch, and rear lights arrived

Its in the garage waiting on a steering rack end to go on since I forgot to put it on yesterdays list with the brakes etc, Lights will go on tonight, and bonnet catch when I can be arsed fiddling about, We managed to free up the old catch with some WD40 which meant it at least locked on correctly.
Talking to the Grease Monkey last night and apparently who ever last had the wheels off managed to put in varying length bolts and bugger the thread on the hub up. Lovely..

Re: My Clio 172 Cup
Blew the rad hoses last month, £270ish gone.
Hub got replaced too
Onto this weeks latest though. I got the wheels sorted out. 4 with buckles, 1 had a small crack. All been professionally straightened and welded, topped off with a powder coat of silver. Drives so much better!

Re: My Clio 172 Cup
If you're up to £2270 now, wouldn't have been easier to buy one with FSH etc? It'll still be a nightmare to shift on in future with history..

Re: My Clio 172 Cup
Tell me about it
I tend to keep cars till they wear out, looks like i'm stuck with this one!

Re: My Clio 172 Cup
