    Smile New Credit Card, New Camera :)

    Just bought a Nikon D7000, Got a kit off fleabay with lens (not that I will be using the lens) for £899 new with warranty.

    Primarily bought as a backup/different lens carrier for the D300 when out on shoots but going by the specs, the D300 might take a back seat.

    Shame it isn't a little bigger like I am used to already.

    Looking forward to doing some shots with it, one things for sure, it's not doing any UE with me as it's too new lol.

    A few pics of it and them side by side...

    The grip is a cheapo at £35.00 It feels a little clunky on the shutter and dials compared to my original MB-D10 but for £35.00 it's fine.

    D7000 -> D300

    Nikon 18-105 VR I have all Tokina prime lenses that cover the focal distance so probably won't use it

    Very nice. Let me know how you get on. I've been looking at this as an upgrade.

    I had a d300 (still have) I don't quite have the funds to afford a D3!!

    I took it out into the garden yesterday and am very impressed so far, maybe I will take it a little further next time

    850W bad boy. It is the newer model as some twerp (not me) put metal in the last one and it went 'poof'
