Re: PH1 Flamer.

cheers.
The bolts on the inside are rounded!

Someone tried before or using a torx one size too small?

Re: PH1 Flamer.
Been out to play in the dark, both screws out using various methods. So the disc is now out of the throttle body, is that as far as it can be taken apart?
And yes some had been at it before and failed.
-
Take the disc out and then pull the spindle bit out

Re: PH1 Flamer.
I've got about 6 ph1/megane TBs. Have to mod the cable for the megane one, but if you don't improve your current one, they're there

Much better now you've ditched that old carpet from behind the engine

Might try your idea with that screw as mine hangs down a little there...
You were very brave doing the whole sawing with the radiator still in lol.
With regards to MOT i take it you know someone if you have your airbag light on?
Also you need to unbolt your horns and bolt them on facing upwards

Cheers! The screws work well, my bumper hits things all the time and it's still holding tight.
One day I will remember do move the horn! Lol.
I was careful when drilling, it was tense at times.
MOT I have 3 places that should do it no problem
hopefully it will work out, I wouldn't mind getting it reset tbh just to clear the dash.

Ball joints were a pain on mine, i was fortunate enough to have my car on a 2 post ramp to make life easier, wouldn't of wanted to do them off axel stands.
My tracking needs doing badly atm too after changing track rod ends.

Sure, let me know a little in advanced when and I can either pop over or you could come to mine, whichever?
They are a massive pita btw

Re: PH1 Flamer.
Track rod ends were dodgy
couldn't get past 10mm of toe in. ECP gave me some more and they're fine
new cat gasket and tracking getting done tomorrow.
Running so much toe out atm the front tyres squeal round round abouts. Hope thats why anyway lol
