Re: PH1 Flamer.
Standard suspension i do believe. Hopefully it will be lower soon
-
The gap should be the same as the front, looks ally high? Or are the tyres like a 45 profile?
-
Re: PH1 Flamer.
45 profile tyres. Ill be running 50's on them once the tyres are dead.
He may be getting some springs soon. As your my guru Danny, i take it springs off a ph1 will fit a 182 with cup packs?

The rear wheel gap will be big as that wheel is on the drop down for the drive, the other 3 are on higher ground.
(i'm judging your on about the last pic where the 182 looks like a 4x4)

Re: PH1 Flamer.
Fair point Lewis
i also had my camera with the lens twisted to 18mm, so it might be ever so slightly distorted also!

The springs will fit yes, red heights maybe a little bit different but not too bad.
45 tyres and the driveway are making it look high lol!

Hey danny! Leave my bus alone!
lol

Re: PH1 Flamer.
No need to primer them Dan. Could you not get away with just rubbing them down rather than blasting them?

Your gonna need to primer the wheels, especially if being blasted.
-
Re: PH1 Flamer.
Ill try rub them down, then see how it goes. Im not very good at prepping/painting stuff as im so impatient
-
Place in bury will sand blast 4 wheels for £80
JE finishing I think their called, there on barton road industrial estate
-
Re: PH1 Flamer.
Theres a blasting place next to my work, he wanted £80 to do Lewis's wheels, which i thought was steep. But i know nothing about blasting etc lol.
I may aswell give them to next door when the time comes then
-
Yea that's about the going rate then

I know. Although if they are only track wheels and you just rub them down well so fresh paint will stick well, a couple of top coats will be fine. Holds up for ages
Dan, blasting is time consuming, tedious and if not in a cabinet sooo messy so don't be too impatient! lol I spent a little while rubbing mine down and they come up good. So all mine stand me in is £15 per wheel and I removed all the curbing.

Re: PH1 Flamer.
I still can't believe that BIGASH can get sand blasted and powdercoated for £15 per wheel, so cheap. Would this not be a better idea? I'll probably be doing this if BA wheels norwich are anymore than £30 per wheel. As it will cost £60 to send to him and get them sent back (+ little more for beer tokens for James helping a mate out)
