Re: clio 1.2
I honestly cant remember mate, it was about two years ago that i lowered it, and back then i knew nothing about cars! never took notice, just bought the goods, and got a mate to help me do it. send me a link to your thread mate.

Re: clio 1.2
I got advised somewhere online to use a citreon c1 aeriel, as i was looking for a fat short replacement for my standard aeriel.

The old aeriel was so badly seized up, i had to take the whole thing out to unscrew the mast.

I had to use plyers to grip it to unscrew it, and ended up damaging it!!

In the end, I think the C1 chod looks sh*t, but on the posotive, it did recieve good radio signal..

So im still looking for a decent aeriel replacement, would like to avoid aftermarket parts, so for now, maybe ill stick with standard

Has anyone got any decent ideas for an aeriel i could use, I seem to think mazda aeriels may fit/look decent

Re: clio 1.2
Been busy lately with the car, but now im truly skint
I decided id give the engine a propper clean out, change water, top up oil etc. and I also swapped the spark plugs for some new ones. altogether it seems to be driving that bit smoother.

gave it a good polish!
also ive received the membership package, so on went the sticker, and tax disk

& some more FC stickers for the sunroof

Finally ive got myself some 172 wheels, in very good condition, with decent tread!! thanks Dan!

although i had some trouble, as the wheel nut f*ckin snapped whilst i was taking off the first wheel!! had to get down to a local garage to sort that out for me!! wasnt to costy.. and they ended up fitting all my wheels properly for me, so wasnt all bad!

Now im going backwards with the thread, but this is what it looked like the day i bought it!!

altogether i have:
Fitted 3 different sets of wheels
replaced idicators, with clear ones
fitted 2 different subs
fitted speakers into parcel shelf
had 3 sets of different rear lights
fitted front lights
fitted carbon fibre bonnet
lowered by 40 mil
placed, and ripped off various stickers
tinted rear windows with light smoke
fitted and removed citreon c1 areiel
fitted mk2 spoiler
fitted and removed aftermarket exhaust
fixed interior light
and colour coded spoiler/bumpstrips/wing mirrors/ boot lock/door handles
still to do: colour code bumpers
once thats done ill be a happy chappy

Re: clio 1.2
those wheels look so much better, my wheels have arrived, and after a good clean i attempted to get them on, but couldnt get my locking wheel nuts off
how much did the garage charge you to take off and fit new ones?

Re: clio 1.2
all you need now is to colour code the bumpers, and space those wheels out!! hahaa the back is stuck in
-
Re: clio 1.2
haha its weird though, becuase they look to far out if you look directly from the back, but on side etc. they do look tucked in.
