clio 2 172 lights

i went to renault yesterday and was talking to the parts manager. He told me that the 172 lights (the 1s with the clear ovals in them) wouldnt fit my 1.2!!! is this true?

has any one on here fitted these lights? was there a lot of work involved or are they direct replacements?

you dont need any adaptor! you just swap the wires around, they slide in.

Ya ive done the same to mine, looks much better, the lights fit straight on, but you need to change a few wires around, which is really easy and explained on the website above, took about 5 mins to do and fit.

i mean the headlights tho, not the back clusters, ive allready fitted some lexus lites to my car.
