Exhaust hanger on1.2 16v (prob all the same)ish

im just wondering has anyone had any problems with exhausts not sittin right becuse of these hangers and their rubber bits? and if so how did you go about gettin the exhaust mount to stop turning in it? i put on "shake proof" washers from b&q...prob a load of crap but worth a go. also got new sleeve for the exhaust to slip onto the original pipe too as its not clamping right and turning...anyone got any words of wisdom about this? thanks

not quite sure what you mean, try explaining it a bit better so we know what you mean

the back box weighs alot and it keeps falling down to the right, as the hanger is pretty weak etc. but the pipe should clamp onto like an adaptor sleeve that came with it, just incase the pipe was smaller that the pipe from the back box. and no matter how hard i tighten it it will eventually turn and the box will fall again. i have however been told a new sleeve is in the post as the old one i noticed is completely boogered! that explain it any better?

has your centre section been cut? the exhaust should be 1 piece from the cat

yeah it had to be the adaptop sleeve has clamped onto the original pipe with no problems as far as i can see, its just clampin onto the adaptor that seems to be the problem
