    Grand Theft Auto IV

I think this will be released on the PS3 and the XB360 at the same time.

October 2007 release date, which is a pisser, but Christ can you imagine the size of this game, considering how huge GTA: San Andreas was? The whole of that game could be used as 1 city on the 360 or PS3.

In GTA, they've now done bikes, helicopters, planes, swimming, weights and working out etc etc.I wonder how they could possibly improve on the gameplay? Any thoughts?

This is my prediction for best game of all time.

The anticipation for this is going to be mahooosive. San Andreas is probably in my top 3 favourite games of all time, and I havent played it for a while now. Just remembering the long drives up the mountain side and the amount of detail that went into the game. Its up there with Pro Evo Soccer, Championship Manager and SWOS.

I thought san andreas was just too big and i thought the weights and food was bollox, GTA 3 was the best, more action all of the time!

I got bored of the whole Grand Theft Auto franchise,

They milked it too much, differences between the games is a handful of vehicles and the size of the game........best game ever.......no chance! LOL

Final Fantasy 7 is already that anyway!

I don't think they'll make it any larger than San Andreas as that would be too big. I still reckon Vice City was my fave of the series, but that's partly down to the subject matter. I'm not into all this black gangster s**t, even though it was still an amazing game. 80's is where it's at.

It will all be about the visuals I reckon.

Aye the soundtrack to VC was spot on!

But indeed, it's an old concept now. If they bring it out on the Wii though, that could make for an interesting difference!

I thought it was a bit random, too. But apparently a lot of people asked for it and thats why it was added in. It improved reputation and all that jazz. A nice addition, as it did add to the missions you could or couldnt do.
Also, the bigger the better in my opinion. You could finish the plot game on around 50% or so, maybe a bit more, I cant remember. But the rest of the game was massive to get 100%. Thats a good thing, even though boredom does sometimes set in. Driving in the desert etc and up that b*****d mountain, which I think took a full 10 minutes even in a helicopter, was a pain.

A welcome inclusion, hopefully will include teenage single mums, with prams and screaming kids, chavs with socks over trackies, and people in Nova SR's doing nuts in McD's!

Some of the missions were a right pain in the bell end. I never finished the one where you controlled the mini gun on the top of the radio controlled car shop, and planes came in and you had to shoot them before they destroyed the transmiters. Grrrr...

I actually broke my controller and dented the plaster on my wall through frustration at GTA. Mind you it was a Mk1 Xbox controller, as big as the moon!
