Are drilled an grooved discs worth the money or are they a load of rubbish?

As above iv just fitted sum spax rsx coilovers to my clio 182 and there is only about 1 mm of thred sticking out the top nut but when i try putting the knocking fix spacer to stop it knocking there isnt enough thread left the blue loctite bit of the thread touches the top of thread and looks like it need to wind on more but its tight !! Is this normal

Do I need a wind back tool for the rear calipers?

Asked 2 friends tonight who were mechanics but not 100% sure if they are or not.

Need to fit rear pads going to do it tomorrow after work, and don't want to jack it up and take the wheels off and pads out to find i need a tool which i don't have.

I forgot to ask birchdown what this does actually- but they say I need one-

Its square & should be round-





Can I change this AFTER I do the brakes- will it matter

Hi guys maybe a dumb question but as I didn't fit the coilovers I'm not sure, would I need spring compressors to change the top mounts?

I've recently received some hub spacers wih camber from M.A.D.

It's come with quite a few bolts, nuts etc. My dad & I plan to fit them. Has anybody got a step by step walk through?
Im sure we'll be fine, as my dad is less retard than me when it comes to mechanics, but I wouldn't mind something to see,so that I'm 100% certain that each washer and everything is in the right place/order.

Been searching for a new dog bone mount for Phase 2 172, the only place I can find one is Renault £46 or to powerflex my original.

Where have people purchased standard ones from? and do you need to support the engine whilst changing?

I run them on my focus RS and have to say I really rate them for the money, they give a better ride that some of the coilovers i had costing 3 times as much.
One of my fron Gaz shocks is really needing a rebuild so thought i might give these a try as they will do custom spring rates and valving.
