Hi all can anyone tell me what the L shaped pipe does coming from my air feed. Mine has started to come away where it joins the main feed. Also does anyone know how much a new one will be and what it's actually called?

Hi all.

I've just bought my ClioSport membership now that I'm in possession of my first Clio.

Been driving since March and it's taking some getting used to driving this 182. I've been fairly sensible so far but the one of the few times I wasn't sensible I was looking down the lens of a speed van (now the wait begins :().










Anyway, the car has been fun in the short length of time I've had it.

I look forward to being a member here!

Anyone know if this can be "layed"??

I always just put one application on but after a few days, or even the first go with the wipers it kills the sheeting effect.

I've had to resort to using this after my wiper mechanism decided to break on the freelander just as I pulled out of the MOT station last week :o

have had my clio 172 cup for several years now and is starting to show its age, have had an ongoing problem with a misfire changed plugs was ok for month or two then started misfire again got new coil pack but no difference, changed plugs again and bought magnacor leads lasted ok for another couple of months, so took it to a local performance garage and they said the compression was fine but they said the leads were at fault causing an arching and they have seen problems with magnacor leads before and advised standard ones so they put silicone round magnacor ones to make better seal and put plugs in all was well for another month now doing it again, they also pionted that a fault with two relays and that my throttle body may need cleaned but this wont cause the misfire. can anyone help or advise renault specialist in scotland. thanks Brad

The gearbox in mine is on the way out, or at least the syncro's are... I was wondering if anyone would recommend a straight oem replacement or another one - i do the occasional track work with the car and it's my weekend toy so does get used.... Any suggestions?

during a fight with my cabasse cd player the other week I was instructed to give it a good sharp hard smack, as it wasnt giving my cd's back. During this a 2A spade type fuse fell out from under the passenger footwell somewhere and i've since noticed my headlight washers arent working :s whereas a month ago they were working fine as the car passed MOT.

So just wondering is this fuse the culprit, and where does it go? Been under the footwell and cant find a random fuseholder anywhere :)

Can hear it on idle and even more so when driving (if I'm alongside a wall or something and the sound deflects back of it).

Sounds a bit like a quiet version of a noisy tappetty 80s/90s Ford engine!

My last ph1's didn't sound like this ever, which makes me think it could be this carbon cannister thing? Thoughts? Just sounds cheap and nasty!
