Decided to fit the OEM side strips over the weekend on the flamer, carried on today and fitted the OEM door handles, car is dirty from sitting on the side of the road but it's looking good.
Am off to the Cars & Coffee at Bicester in the Clio on Sunday morning anyone else going down?

Am hoping it will be back on the road this year, it's not been on the road since 2012 so it's been a while :) not that I have owned it that long, am looking forward to taking it for it's maiden spin, love the mk1's
I have a mk1 16v, although it's currently not on the road nor has it been yet in my ownership, hopefully will fix that in the not to distant future will see what happens 😂
Cheers Rob, that's a great help, I downloaded Pure Motorsport AC delete fitting guides last night so that has helped also. Looks a lot easier with the engine out of the car
That's my worry, haven't driven it anywhere since, just trying to figure out what to do, it is also due cambelt so might get the garage to do all at the same time, would just have to get it there

I believe from what I have seen (video attached) my aux belt is slipping/squealing, doesn’t do it unless the wheel is being turned and only currently when the car is stationary (guessing more load when stationary?) I am assuming that it is something power assisted steering related...
Made a start on the flamer today, aluminium bonnet in position (not bolted in yet) and added the cup spoiler off the titanium ph1 which meant the titanium got it's original spoiler back on. Also started stripping the interior and panels although that's not very photogenic, especially while it's...
